Jason spent his Spring Break on his wish trip of a lifetime. His wish was to learn more about the animals from the land down under—Australia. Jason’s first reaction when anyone asks him “how was your trip” he replies “ It was so awesome!”

Jason is a nine year-old living with hypoplastic left heart syndrome. His wish trip was arranged for every excursion having wheelchair accessibility along with tours that excluded lots of walking. Jason shared the fun with mom Deb, sister Michelle, and uncle Carlos.

The family enjoyed a tour of Sydney with tea at the world famous surf beaches – Bondi and Manly. There were stops at Spit Bridge and the Arabanoo lookout. A visit to Milsons Point provided an up-close view of the Harbor Bridge.

While in Australia he experienced a one-on-one guided tour of the Taraonga Zoo and a day at the Sydney Aquarium. The family spent a full day touring Sydney along the Central Coast cruising by boat to Port Stephens harbor. The highlights of Jason’s wish trip were a visit to the Australian Reptile Park and time in the water with hydrophones to listen to dolphins underwater.

All in all, Jason had a “Good Day, Mate!”
